Thanks for posting about my auction, Rose. The Masks of the Goddess, my collection of 30 masks celebrating the Divine Feminine, have completed their journey of 7 years, and coast to coast. But perhaps it all began with you, when we did a performance with several others in NYC at a little theatre in the East Village, dedicated to the Goddess.
Funny you should be talking about APPLES (well, you are a Psychic, after all……) But what I remember most about that night was the way we closed. I had gathered apples that had fallen beneath a tree – brought them to the performance – and passed them out. They represented the great loving, nourishing, generosity of our Mother, Gaia. Remembrance, and blessing.
I also remember the people there, Manhattanites all, actually took, and ate, every one.

What a wonderful magical evening that was in 1991! “Autumnal Equinox Paean to the Goddess”, I recall, the title. It began with Paula Lockart reading the names of Goddess from around the world. I did two dances honoring the Divine Feminine. One was called “Awakening” which I also danced at the Lincoln Center Library Dance Series with the Anahid Sofian Dance Theatre. Anahid was the movement consultant of our show. I choreographed that dance with Anahid’s expert assistance inspired by the Blue People of Morocco. You (Lauren Raine) read some magnificent poems and shared your artful video. Larry Hall was on sound and Larry Gregory worked the lights, Will Shaw shot video. Thirteen months later I was blessed with my own little Goddess representative, aptly and reverently middle-named Isis. If I ever find any photos from this ceremony/performance I will certainly consider posting them. Thanks for your participation in my life, Lauren!
